Nurses
Nurse services form an integral part of our General Practice. Our nurses are part of your health care team, working in collaboration with your GP to provide you with specialist care that meets your health needs. Our nurses are highly skilled, highly trained and dedicated to working with you to achieve your health goals.
Nurse Practitioners in General Practice
A Nurse Practitioner is a highly qualified and experienced nurse who has been endorsed by the Nurses and Midwives Board as a specialist in their field. Nurse Practitioners can work autonomously, within their scope of practice, and have the authority to prescribe medications and request pathology and imaging services (such as x-ray and ultrasounds). Nurse Practitioner services attract a Medicare rebate.
